Connect WPA wifi network

Need the wpasupplicant package

sudo apt-get install wpasupplicant

Put your SSID and password into /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

nano /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
network={
    ssid="ssid_name"
    psk="password"
}

Assuming the interface is wlan0:

sudo wpa_supplicant -B -i wlan0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
sudo dhclient wlan0

Test the connectivity:

ping 4.2.2.2

If above is successful, hard-code the config:

nano /etc/network/interfaces
allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-conf /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
